What drives Attento?

The Attento Purpose

Ravishankar Iyer

Founder at Attento

In India, our roads and highways reflect a tragic paradox – despite improved infrastructure and safer vehicles, accidents and fatalities remain alarmingly high. This reality underscores a simple truth: real safety isn’t just about better roads or advanced cars; it’s about fostering a culture of responsibility.

We believe that every responsible act behind the wheel makes a difference. By building technology to measure, recognize and reward safe driving behaviour, we aim to encourage better driving habits and create a positive shift in road safety for everyone.

#mission

Driving change, one mile at a time. Valuing lives, one choice at a time.

Every mile driven safely brings us closer to safer roads. At Attento, we are on a mission to transform road safety through awareness, technology, and positive reinforcement. By analyzing driving behavior and promoting responsible choices, we aim to reduce accidents, protect lives, and build a community where safer driving is second nature.

Why We Care?

India’s Road Safety Crisis

Road accidents aren’t just statistics—they shatter lives and livelihoods. Beyond the tragic loss of life, the economic impact is staggering – India loses an estimated 5% of its GDP annually due to road crashes. The cost isn’t just in numbers though – it’s in futures lost and families broken. It’s time for a change.
