At Attento, your data isn’t just protected – it’s respected.
We design our systems to prioritize your privacy and give you control over how your information is used. No hidden agendas. Just transparency, clear choices, and responsible handling, every step of the way.

Our Privacy Principles

We Collect with Purpose
We only collect what’s absolutely necessary to understand and improve your driving experience. No extras, no overreach.

Anonymised by Default
Wherever possible, your data is de-identified to protect your identity. We obsess over insights – not personally identifiable information.

Zero Trust, Full Control, Highest Security
Our systems are built on a Zero Trust architecture – meaning we verify everything, and trust nothing by default. This applies to how we manage access, how your data moves, and how it’s stored.

You’re in the Driver’s Seat
We give you clear, meaningful control over what’s collected and how it’s used. You can opt in, opt out, or just check in – without the guesswork.

Built to Respect Boundaries
Every feature starts with a privacy check. We challenge ourselves to find the least invasive way to deliver value – and say no to anything else.

We’re Accountable

We hold ourselves to high standards. If something goes wrong, we own it – and we’ll make it right.

Your Data, The Attento Way

What data does Attento collect?

At Attento, we believe clarity builds trust. Here’s a simple breakdown of the data involved when you use our app – what you share, what we collect, and what might come from third parties. Nothing hidden, no unnecessary tracking – just the data that helps us make you a better, safer driver.

We collect only the data necessary to power the platform:

  • Driving data like speed, location, acceleration, and trip patterns — but only while you’re in a moving vehicle, either detected automatically or confirmed by you. We do not collect location data at other times.
  • Device info such as phone model and OS (for app performance)
  • Basic personal info like name, contact details, vehicle number, and driver’s license (for identity verification and rewards)
  • Referral & invite data when applicable

We don’t track you passively or collect unnecessary personal information. Your privacy stays in the driver’s seat.

How does Attento use this data?

We use your data with a single goal in mind: to help you become a more aware, safer driver – without ever crossing the line into overreach. Here’s how that works, broken down into simple and relatable terms.

Your data helps us:

  • Calculate driving scores fairly and accurately
  • Reward you with Attento Miles based on safe driving
  • Show personalised insights, challenges, and rewards
  • Verify your identity for exclusive access and security
  • Improve app features, safety algorithms, and driving intelligence

We use your data only to serve the Attento experience — nothing more.

Who does Attento share this data with?

Short answer? Very few people, and only when necessary. We believe your data belongs to you, and sharing it is never something we take lightly. Here’s exactly who we may share it with—and why.

We never sell your data. We share only what’s necessary:

  • Reward partners, to help you redeem your Attento Miles
  • Insurer partners, for you to access driving-based premium benefits (ONLY when you allow it)
  • Service providers like hosting and analytics, strictly under contract
  • When legally required — like fraud, safety, or regulatory reasons

You’re always in control. We stay transparent about what is shared, and why.
